28.4% of Devices Android Take Jelly Bean

Less than two weeks to know what will be the next version of Android with its Google News updates, each month, the distribution of Android versions for this month of May. Data have been collected from those devices that have accessed Google Play during the past 14 days, completed yesterday, may 1.

Jelly Bean is now available at 28.4% of devices. Last month it was at 25%, which has risen more than three points in a month. In particular the 26.1% carry Android 4.1. X and 2.3% version 4.2. X. They are the only versions winning market share from last month.

Ice Cream Sandwich back to losing points again, goes to the current 27.5% 29.3%, probably because many devices with that version are updating officially Jelly Bean.

Gingerbread It is losing market share. It has gone from 39.8% to 38.5%. Other versions see few changes respect last month. Donut and Eclair are maintained, Froyo goes from 4% to 3.7% and Honeycomb 3.2 from 0.2% to 0.1%. The rest of Android versions do not appear in the table because they have less than 0.1% of fee.
